Merry Christmas to the people that is probably browsing this shitblog of mine (namely Lieven, Brad, Douglas, and Carl... and maybe some other that i am not aware of). Thanks to all of you, you made my 2004 quite something. May not be the best year but still something to smile about.

And as 2004 ends, i am coming up with my website within this winter season (if not then there's spring time :P) and this blog page will be part of that site (or not, i am still thinking about it... don't want too many people reading).

The New Pusa Website Version 02

So far, so good. Anyways, i wish you all again a Merry Christmas and a Glorious 2005!

(hmn... and i am thinking of a year end report... mihihi)

Random Journal 041220

Just feeling down today for many reasons... One, i dont feel well, hypertension attacks. Two, depression coz Christmas is just around the corner and i am forced to celebrate it alone probably. Three, gawd... rumor circulating at work that some co-workers are blaming me on a recent christmas party event. They are blaming me for giving them projects that eventually led them less time for practice for their contest entry, causing them not to get the grand prize.

What can i say, it's funny and lame... but the thing is that i am really not making any good impressions. I just dont give a damn at the moment.

*hops around*... argh, makes me dizzy.

Accidents, Rewards, Stress... and Coffee

Just for this week, a lot had happened that made me go ooh, oh!, ah!, uh, ha?, he, hoho, hiii... Really doesnt make any sense so i'd better start talking.

As this week started, terrible news shocked us when we learned that our officemate named Moody had a car accident at C5. Their car flipped over and tossing her halfway to the windshield. The good news is that she doesnt have any broken bones, but the bruises and cuts are plenty. She's quite lucky to be alive since on what i have heard, it's a miracle to survive such crash... the vehicle was totally deformed. She is now recovering and resting at home and might come back to work on the first day of 2005.

On the brighter side, we had our Christmas Party at Gerry's Grill last Wednesday. We had fun and food was good (better if it were on Saisaki). On that night as well, a few people were awarded for their excellence in their respective jobs... i was lucky enough to be one of them. Got some cash and a certificate for it.

After all those things, the week wrapped up with a lot of stress. We were required to go to the office on the very next day of the party. Lots of projects to think about (and i even have to go back to the office tomorrow)... and it makes my bp go up. Recently i had my blood pressure checked and it was already on 130/90... i usually get 130/80 - 150/80. I frequently have this dizziness and faint feeling so health is not in good condition. But anyways, i am doing my best to lower it down.

And so, with all that thing happened during this week, it ended up to one thing... coffee. It's been a long while since i last had a real coffee break and it's marvelous... i crave for more. I dont know if this is good for me or not, but anyways... i am going to take it in moderation, or for the meantime i won't drink at all, i don't mind.

That's all :).

Because of You

Ok, first lyric post for this blogpage. I've been listening lately to mellow songs that has themes of heartaches and heartbreaks... and i dont know what's the deal. Every popular music these days here in my country have that kind of theme. But anyways, i'm going to post the "Song of 2003"... not that it is awarded as such in recent music awards but everyone seemed to have stuck with the song. I am talking about the song "Because of you", sung and composed by Keith Martin, an african-american guy who found gold here with his one hit wonder :P. After the release of his song, a few other version was made... i think around 4 of them. One of which is in my opinion, the best among the copies... the rendition of the R&B princess of the Philippines, Kyla. Here's a link for that song if you want to listen.

Because of You
Kyla
original composition of Keith Martin

If ever you wondered
If you touched my soul, yes you do
Since I met you I'm not the same
You bring life to everything I do
Just the way you say hello
With one touch I can't let go
Never thought I'd fall in love with you...

Chorus:
Because of you, my life has changed, thank you for the love and joy you bring
Because of you, I feel no shame, I'll tell the world it's because of you

Sometimes I get lonely
And all I gotta do is think of you
You captured something inside of me
You make all of my dreams come true
It's not enough that you love me for me
You reached inside and touched me eternally
I love you best explains how I feel for you...

Chorus:
Because of you, my life has changed, thank you for the love and the joy you bring
Because of you, I feel no shame, I'll tell the world it's
Because of you, my life has changed, thank you for the love and the joy you bring
Because of you, I feel no shame, I'll tell the world it's because of you

Bridge:
The magic in your eyes
True love I can't deny
When you hold me I just lose control
I want you to know that I'm never letting go
You mean so much to me I want the world to see,
It's because of you

Chorus:
Because of you, my life has changed, thank you for the love and the joy you bring
Because of you, I feel no shame, I'll tell the world it's because of you
My life has changed thank you for the love and the joy you bring
Because of you, I feel no shame, I'll tell the world it's because of you...

Shit

Something i received on email before... quite in right timing coz i was pissed off from the laziness and low motivated work that was being shown by the other artists i am handling. Could have passed this to them, hehehe.

Memo to all employees:

In order to assure the highest levels of quality work and productivity
from employees, it will be our policy to keep all employees well trained
through our program of SPECIAL HIGH INTENSITY TRAINING (S.H.I.T.).

We are trying to give our employees more S.H.I.T. than anyone else. If
you feel that you do not receive your share of S.H.I.T. on the course,
please see your supervisor. You will be immediately placed at the top of
the S.H.I.T. list and our supervisors are especially skilled at seeing you
get all the S.H.I.T you can handle.

Employees who don't take their S.H.I.T. will be placed in DEPARTMENTAL
EMPLOYEE EVALUATION PROGRAMS S.H.I.T. (D.E.E.P.S.H.I.T.).

Those who fail to take D.E.E.P.S.H.I.T. seriously will have to go to
EMPLOYEE ATTITUDE TRAINING S.H.I.T. (E.A.T.S.H.I.T.).

Since our supervisors took S.H.I.T. before they were promoted, they don't
have to do S.H.I.T. anymore, and are all full of S.H.I.T. already. If you
are full of S.H.I.T. you may be interested in a job teaching others.

We can add your name to our BASIC UNDERSTANDING LIST of LEADERS S.H.I.T.
(B.U.L.L.S.H.I.T.).

For employees who are intending to pursue a career in management and
consulting, we will refer you to the department of MANAGERIAL OPERATIONAL
RESEARCH EDUCATION S.H.I.T. (M.O.R.E.S.H.I.T.). This course emphasizes how
to manage M.O.R.E.S.H.I.T.

If you have further questions, please direct them to our HEAD OF TEACHING,
SPECIAL HIGH INTENSITY TRAINING S.H.I.T. (H.O.T.S.H.I.T.).

Thank you,

BOSS IN GENERAL, SPECIAL HIGH INTENSITY TRAINING

(B.I.G.S.H.I.T.)

P.S. Now send this S.H.I.T. to 5 people who need S.H.I.T. in their life,
just not the same person who sent you this S.H.I.T. They have already had
their fill of S.H.I.T.

Thank you for your time. !

Sincerely,

The Director Under the Main Bureau of Super High Intensity Training

(The D.U.M.B.S.H.I.T.)

I almost ate a cock...

I should have posted this a few days ago but i haven't got much of the urge to do so, and now since i am kinda wasting my time (should have done with the earlier plan but didn't.. whoo, so much mind changing) i am now making a blog. Yeah :P.

It was just this passed Wednesday that i had the time to eat dinner again at this place, in the Food Choices of Greenbelt 3 Mall. I was a bit starving and really craving for the fish fillet that "Tender Bob" is serving. So i got there, immediately went in line and order that fish fillet meal.
I got rice, the fish fillets, a bit of spaghetti for a side dish, and a soup for appetizer.

So what the hell is so interesting about this?

Ok, so i started with the soup which i am fond of... chicken and mushroom soup, yum yum! I almost had half of the soup then i noticed some black lines, thought it was some kind of spice. Then i started to mix the soup a little bit then it finally revealed.

Oh my god, a dead cockroach *shiver* i almost ate a cockroach!

I immediately went to the counter and showed them what's in the soup. I didn't talked, nor showed a bad reaction... just quietly showed them while the others that were looking at me. One even said "Uy, ano iyan? (Hey, what's that?)". I went back to my seat thinking if i should continue eating... but i do have a strong stomach, and gawd i am starving... and thinking that the fish fillets didnt went through the same cockroach pleasures. I ate it still (blame me if i get sick).

The management personel did talked to me, gave me full refund on everything that i ordered and asked never to tell. I told him that they should double check next time or else someone might spread bad news about their establishment and end their business eventually. I don't know if it was a smooth thing for me to have done that but i already did it. They're grateful that i am willing to be quiet and they will make effort not to let this happen again.

Just after our conversation ended, he was quite relieved and rambling stuff... told me that this is the third time it happened to them. After that thing he said... i stopped, smiled, and thought "that was stupid of him to tell me that". I didn't finish the food and left.

So that's going to be the last time i'll ever dine with their food.

After The Storms' 1-2 punch

After the turbulent storms, one of which is the most devastating... somehow, we have survived. Typhoon Winnie's wind wasn't that strong but the continuous rain killed hundreds of people. It's blamed on the rampant illegal logging on the ill-fated provinces. In my town, not much of a tragedy... just flood that is not really that dangerous plus power failures.

Super Typhoon Yoyong came after Typhoon Winnie left the country. Killed few more people but was not as devastating as Winnie. This storm just brought very strong winds and a few rainfall. It did caused panic on the Metro though, suspending every single offices and classes in the afternoon. To commute back home was a hassle, 2 hours waiting at the bus terminal, very long lines, few buses arrived, then 1 hour plus travel home caused by a few traffic.

The country's fight after the storms are not yet over. Lots of people are homeless, mourning on their fate. I am just somehow glad that i am on a safer and better status, all i can do now is just hope for the better welfare of the less-fortunate.

Which movie will i watch?

I asked before on my last blog which movie shall i watch? Eventually, due to lasting boredome, i got to watch the three movies i mentioned. Yeah, 3 movies within 2 days... that's how bored i was.

I first saw the movie "Saw" (got me curious because it kinda looks like Silent Hill on the trailer). The movie is great, throughout the whole movie, you get to think who is brain behind the sick games, and it was quite obvious who the perpetraitor is... *beep* "what?!, now wait a second!" The flow of the story is astonishing, lots of surprises though to keep the audience thinking. Quite frankly, it's becoming a fav of mine. If i am to rate this film, it's going to be 95/100.

Then yesterday, i had an opportunity to see "The Polar Express". Fun movie, but what really striked the most is the graphics... really bows to that. Storywise,... ehm.... uhm... let's skip that, i might spoil it for the kids. Generally, it's a family oriented film, but could have just put more heart into it and not just let the viewers drop their jaw with their excellent 3d graphics. I'll give it a score of 86/100.

Later after that, i was thinking if i am to watch Alexander or not because it's 3 hours long... bah, what the heck. Watched it around 7:30 pm and man, it is a long movie. So what can i say about the movie? Well uhm, yeah... nice set designs and costume designs, lots of blood... what would you expect from a war epic? And clearly, given me some ideas about Alexander the Great since i really dont know much about him ( i was just not paying attention at school... or, the teacher at that time sucks big time). Anyways, nice movie in some point but not that kind of movie that i would watch again. My rating: 80/100.

Week in Review: Shits and more shits... with bits of corn in it.

This week was quite interesting and frustrating at the same time for some developments that happened. First off, i had a physical check-up and yeah, as i have expected my health condition is already on the normal to poor level. I am not happy believe me but it's my fault eventually, no one is to be blamed here. I got my self into lot of mental, emotional and a bit of physical stresses which caused a lot of damage. So now i am trying to look for ways to get me back in good health. Been exercising since Wednesday and my body is aching... lol, i should slow down ;P.

Then like the previous blog i posted here, confirmed that the digital camera is whacked.... doomed, and makes me sad. I love my camera so much that it's like a loved one died. *sigh*... have to make money to buy me another one, mihihi.

Yesterday, we had a meeting about the current situation on our office (laboratory and the factory). Our boss opened up the situation wherein the factory has been told not to use pirated software version of the photoshop but still, they are using it. So one suggestion that he told us that we, in the laboratory, have to use Paint Shop Pro to set an example for the other office. We, especially me, were pissed. It's a degrade of work quality and time since personally i dont like PSP and i dont have any clue how to use it. Yeah it might look somehow like photoshop but hell it's like i am back to preschool. Plus they want high quality work... and always telling us "dont do impossible things", but seriously i dont think this step is a good idea. The fact that we, in the laboratory, have heavier work and it doesn't help... but for the company's sake, we'll go along with their plan. Once i had enough of it... it's best to tell them that it sucks, like they want us to do when we do beyond our patience, or if it comes to worst, just find another job. They will listen, or hoping that they will.

Now, it's saturday, just going to stay cool for the whole 3 non-working days (Bonifacio Day, national holiday, on Tuesday but the President moved it on Monday for a longer break, how neat is that?) and after this, i am going to watch a movie... i dont know if it's going to be Polar Express, Alexander, or Saw. I'll decide when i get there.

Rage Against the Machines

I am quite pissed off yesterday (until now) that i am experiencing technical errors with the machines that i am using. It started with the cpu that has a dvd-rom burner, the hard drive just went looney and caused defects on my dvd-r discs... 2 pieces wasted. After that, the hard drive totally went down... it's dead! (and friggin back-up files are still in there). My officemate told me that it wont be revived anymore... so that's a bum.

This morning, my digital camera isn't working. I don't know what's the cause, i am still checking on possible things that might have caused this. It's probably just the rechargable batteries coz it's acting up lately as well.

So i feel jinxed, i wish that the speeding car last night just hit me and let me die...... but that's too lame.

My New Blog

Yes, i have now a new blog to get busy with, it's been a long while since i get to do this again. Thanks to Lieven for giving me this site (and oh man i think he's happy that he's gonna be able to read my shits again, hehehehe). Anyways, more blogs to follow soon.
